Was looking at those, actually almost bought one. I talked to a few guys that own guns shops around here that say that 7/10 m2000 and m3500's were being sent back to Stoeger and that Stoeger didnt want to pay shipping when they needed to fix something. Said he wont put the m3500 on his shelf...

when i have done it in the past, I just write up a bill of sale with the serial # and model. You get that notorized that way there is documented proof of sale

Do you just call and get it registered in your name and when it goes through, I send the gun?

Guns are not registered in anybodies name in Louisiana

NO need to call anybody, steps to selling a gun in LA

1) agree on price and terms
2)exchange gun/form of payment
that is all that is required, most people will suggest (as do I) that you write up a bill of sale with the serial number and description of gun, with buyers and sellers name and address and the date, have both sign and each person keep a copy

BTW don't waste money notarizing anything. It will do no good. You do not need a bill of sale, but it will not hurt either...saying it was stolen, etc.

Here is the one I use Bill of Sale

Not trying to ruin your business Harper but gekko you should look at the Stoeger 2000. It was the first auto I bought and I still use it a lot when it's raining or I'm hunting a creek or something. Got it for around 500 and never had a problem and I put it through hell. I took my buddy's Xtrema apart and that one apart and we couldn't tell one difference. Externally either hardly as they are both Max 4.
