You're mistaken. You don't actually want to try that.

I got my first baitcaster when I was about 10. Because it was super cool, I never touched my Zebco 33 again after that day. So, I used my baitcaster for everything. You "can" throw light stuff with some setups, but it's like using a miata for offroading. There are better tools.
