quote:The structure is not visible on most of them, but they are all marked. Theyre actually pretty good reefs.
Are they visible above the waterline? I see the MDW has some coordinated listed on their site for manmade reefs in the area
A few that have rocks are above the waterline and are well marked and not dangerous.
I plan on hitting a couple in the morning.

Most of the ones that are not visible are just shells or real old. They still can be great spots though. In Spring/summer, you can bounce from one to another and put together a good box easily.
Just keep in mind, if we get heavy rains (like most of this year), go further East away from the Bay if you're fishing in close. The Bay gets a ton of freshwater dumped in there.

Looks like they are investing a chunk of change into their fish habitats over there. I definitely don’t mind hopping around different reefs to make a nice box.

This is actually correct - i was only talking about the ones along the beach that were mentioned. The ones in the bay used to be physically marked with a pvc pole and sign, but those have been blown/washed away.
