I've paddled that area before, it's beautiful. Probably getting a Compagna skiff with a tiller soon. I'll buy a real boat in the next few years, one with trolling ability so I can work those coastlines.

Rigolets guys: like I said, I never fished Lake Catherine, and the few hot spots I have are strictly very shallow redfish spots in the area around the mouth of the West Pearl - spots for a flat boat or maybe a 18-20 ft. Bay boat if the tides are kinda high. If you're interested in this kind of thing, shoot me an email at nickyreed22@yahoo.com and I'll prep some maps tomorrow.
