For those who have been down the last few days, has live bait been readily available?

Crappy day all around today.......got out a little later than we liked hit two spots, nothing.....then stopped at the Sulphur Mine on the way out to Last Island, nada, though I did manage to snap my Falcon HD in two trying to get off a snag. By that time the weather started to look bad towards Cocodrie, so we figured to head in before we got a total wet behind. We made it back and the weather wasn't all that bad, so we hung out a few minutes and went back out.....this time we hit a flock of birds in Bay St. Elaine, not sure of what the weather was going to do we headed to lee shoreline and managed to pick up two trout, a red, and a flounder. By this time we saw a fleet of bigger boats heading in, so we figured we better follow suit.

Of course, by the time it came to clean out the boat the weather had cleared up and was a beautiful ride home.

No shrimp at Tradewinds this morning.

Sorry hear that, glad we didn't go. I made some fishin' money and plan on making more today.
Will be watching mid to late week if Ernesto isn't a problem.

Fished out west on Thursday and Friday. 45 trout total on croakers. Some buddies fished rugs in pelto Friday afternoon and left some nice fish biting.

According to the guides they are killing the trout with ease...unless they target redfish that particular day...in which case they'll have killed redfish because they couldn't catch any trout.

5-10 outta the S or SW all week as per NWS. Rain will be around till frickin late Sept. so I'm not overly worried. Hope to go during the week or late weekend.
Buddies are already dealing with hunting camp issues. WTF!
