Nothing yet. Doesn't seem that his family has any updates yet either.

ETA: he's got a kid on the way

Its an inflatable tube that is bright as hell to help locate a diver that was swept away by current. Problem is, you have to manually deploy it.

It coils up real small when not in use and then inflated to 8' tall when you blow it up

ETA: I used to not dive with one but then I dove down one time and missed the rig, ended up 100yds down current from the rig and had to swim my arse off to get back to the boat. No one ever saw me out there in 2' waves

sooo, a diver in trouble needs to deploy it, BEFORE trouble gets too bad?

its mainly for when you're stranded on the surface. you can blow it up with your regulator or your mouth

This was a recreational dive, right? What are they looking for? I'm completely ignorant here...just trying to understand.

Hope they find him floating at the surface.

They were spearfishing. Thats why I am assuming he shot a big amberjack or something and it wrapped him up or he bumped his head on the platform and it knocked him out

He was chartering a boat on the weekends from my understanding and they made a dive at the rig. The other diver said on their way up he looked down and Blake just dissapeared

Blake and Noble are a very close friends of mine. Practically lived with Blake in college. I am lost for words.
Nothing knew to report but he was doing what he LOVED. He ate, sleep, and breathed diving and fishing.

Sorry about that Tripp. I know Nobile but only know of Blake. He was also friends with a lot of my friends.

I am also at a loss. They are great experienced divers.

They dove the rig in the afternoon. Another diver shot a big warsaw and was on his way up and was the last to see Blake. Blake had no fish and was on his way to the surface. Word is the current was not bad. Blake is a young guy in his late 20's, but a very experienced diver. Not sue what happened.
