280 I think. He's a super busy guy so if you're wanting something done quick, look elsewhere. I'm talking 7-10 months, but it's worth it.

Took him a year to do my teal, after saying it would be 4 months, and I haven't had time to pass through breaux bridge in a year so it's officially been 2 years since I dropped off my duck . His mounts are incredible. I really need to go pick up my bird.

Damn didn't know he still did work. Good too know. He did both my bucks when I was in high school. He was based out of Houma...I think, back then. When he moved I was pretty disappointed b/c I had a fox, turkey and wood duck I needed to get mounted.

Is this the guy that does ridiculous real life mounts? He also makes all his molds and has 1 or 2 world titles? Has something like every species of duck or close to it mounted in his place?

Yepper, that's the guy. His work is amazing and he's done some turkey work for me and I've hunted with him as well..

A bit of Dave Luke trivia. Bet you didn't know he graduated from an Ivy League school?

His website

Here's a shadow box presentation he did with an Ocellated turkey I harvested a few years back..

Dave Luke

Period. He's he best in he state hands down with birds. I get at least one bird a year mounted by him. They last forever and will look the same til the day you die.

I went by Luke's today in breaux bridge and it was locked up tight, looked like the grass hasn't been cut in about 6 months too. He still open?

I'm pretty sure Wiltz added that himself.

Yes. He's very busy traveling around for various hunts and is frequently gone and out of his office for weeks at a time.

Those photos were snapped shortly after assembly two years ago. The whole shadowbox has since been moved. The wire is still there and exits the rear of the box now. Pretty minor as far as I'm concerned but I'll probably get around to mounting some LED's one of these days...
