If you are asking this question you aren't familiar enough with the area to go. Might end up spending the night on the boat.

That was sort of the whole point of the question. I’ve only been fishing there a couple years and only in the fall. Just asking for advice about conditions. I wasn’t asking for GPS coordinates to everybody’s honey holes.
Thanks for your input though. I’ll never have to look for fish again.

I'm just telling you it can be dangerous this time of the year. If you are new to the area stay in Loutre and fish the area just past stump lagoon. Smoke or prpl/char grub if you just gotta go. If you have any honey-do's, do em and go a day or so after.
