Glocks to me are a serious love hate thing and no in between

Glocks are boring and ubiquitous. I only have two—a 10mm and 45ACP. I like the chunk grips. When I wanted a 45ACP, I first tried the Walther 45ACP and the grip just did not agree with my hand. That FN looks real interesting but it’s totally unfamiliar to me so I went with the known commodity Glock.
OP, that’s a cool looking pistol.

Love mine, great suppressed. The trigger is a little spongy, but still fun to shoot. No regrets at all getting mine.

Can’t believe I missed this thread. I’ve been kicking around getting a Dan Wesson 1911 for some time now but just haven’t done it. I was browsing Bass Pro and came across the FNX-45 Tactical and after fondling it I found that it punched all my high capacity .45 wants. I got the email last night that it was ready for pickup.

Added a light and RMR and shot it today.
It’s a great shooter and a lot of gun for the money and it’s surprisingly light for a weapon of its size. The suppressor height sites are a little weird and take some getting used to but they cowitness perfectly with the RMR. Very accurate as well.

Nice!
I’ve been looking at sights now. I need to find somewhere that has a green dot in stock that I can look through. As all my red dots either have a star or comet effect to them with my astigmatism depending on the mfg. I’ve been reading that green helps reduce this effect, but really want to look through it before I purchase.

I would check out a holographic sight like eotech EXPS3 or a green dot holosun.

I was looking the new Trijicon that comes in a green dot now, also Vortex and Holosum. I glanced over the sights today at Bass Pro but they were busy as hell so when they called my name I filled out my paperwork and got out of there.
