Yup, I just lost my only 2 cucumber plants.
I only tried transplanting cucumbers twice but didn't have good luck. I find they do best when the seed is put in the ground where you want them...or in a peat pot and sticking the whole pot in.

Cubbie, I see what you did girl. Covering up those rocks with some mulch.

Serious tip, buy some of those bricks at Wal Mart and try to build up your seed bed. Good drainage is king. Also, throw you grass clippings, leaves, etc, in a pile. They'll make nice compost to add. OR you may want to buy a composter. Not sure how much room you have, etc.

My father-in-law has a "raised bed" made from wood- which works fine just make sure you get treated lumber. Mine was part of the patio connecting our outdoor kitchen to our house so I wanted something a little dressier.

white fuzzy stuff on your plants you need to stop watering at night or make sure when you do you only water the ground not the leaves. The water sitting on the leaves overnight (which does not evapoorate like it would in the daytime) can cause fugus/mold growth.

That's exactly what happened with my cucumber plants. They do look like they might be making a comeback. I took a spray bottle and added baking soda and Dawn and filled up with water. I sprayed a little on the leaves and it seems to be working.
