quote:I was told that there is one more difference -- the grip angle.
Slight decrease in trigger distance. Exact same height with mag. The overall length isnt a prob for me CC. Its the height alone. Overall width we’re talking 1.26” G23 vs g43x 1.1”. Negligible.
A buddy was showing me his new 43x two days ago. When I held it and "pushed out" to a firing position, the front sight was sitting above the rear sight (unlike what I'm used to seeing after carrying a G19 for 25 years). When I mentioned the sight picture to him, he replied saying that was because Glock altered the grip angle on the 43X.
FWIW his pistol was milled/machined for an MRS. Assuming he's correct about the grip angle, it may be that Glock did this to accommodate use of a red dot. (I participated in Karl Rehn's study of iron sights vs. red dots vs. lasers. He found that people who were not used shooting a pistol w/ an MRS had to alter their normal draw-stroke/grip in order to see the red dot.)
Personally I don't see any advantage in carrying a 43X vs. a G19 (unless a few ounces of weight are important).

Has anyone had any experience with the model 43X
I carry a 43 daily either IWB or in an Alabama pocket holster. I've also shot a 43X and with the extended grip its easier to control but I'm fine with my 43 as I can pocket carry it.
I also have a 34 Gen5, 17 Gen5, 19 Gen4 and a 26 Gen4 along with my 43. I like 9mm Glocks.

The 43X/48 are quickly becoming the best kept Glock secrets.

If you like the 43X, check out the Sig P365XL. It has a lot more features than the Glock and is higher overall quality.
