does anyone with an HK p30 9mm notice shell casing ejecting back on top of your head? ? Never experienced that and figured may be just wan't broken in yet.

ETA: of what could be causing that.

For me, it's ammo. CCI casings land in my shirt pocket. It's the only ammo I've used that does that.

Obviously my choice ultimately comes down to personal preference
Wrong.

1. Your choice should be limited to a make & model that is among the most reliable handguns you can afford.

2. Then you need to decide on its planned use - and factor that into your choice of models/sizes.

3. Then you need to go shoot about 50 rounds thru one to see if you can shoot it well.

Idk about EDC for CC but if you wanted you could get by with it.

I’d go for the new Rock Island Armory 1911 Double Stack .40 or 9mm TAC Ultra. Perfect home defense pistol as it’s affordable and extremely accurate. It’s milled out of a solid block of steel, full lower rail and mag well, perfect trigger, and has a lifetime warranty. Slide is like butter and the recoil is nothing. It’s a legit 100 yard pistol with a red dot. 17rds

Also, if you have any other recommendations for solid 9mm

HK VP9. Look no further.

Glock 19

Even though I'm Team SIG, I don't have enough experience to endorse the polymers. I do intend to get and carry a P365.

But, for your purposes "general home defense, possibly concealed carry" - the Glock 19 would have to be the best all around recommendation I can make.
