I have a multi-stage charger. It charges the batteries until they reach full charge, then goes into maintenance mode for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the charger turns off and will automatically resume charging when battery voltage drops below 12.6V.

I have usually just left the charger on but my neighbor recently told me he has his attached to a timer and has it come on 2 hours per day.

So, what is your method of charging your trolling motor batteries? I have a 36V trolling motor if that matters, 3 12V batteries.

I use a Noco Genius 3x10 charger. I leave it plugged in and just let it do it’s thing.

For my lithium tm batteries I hook up an extension cord to my onboard charger and monitor batteries on app until they reach 100% again then unplug. They stay charged at 100% until next trip.

Noco Genius charger is all you need. I think they can charge up to 4 batteries at once, you can charge any kind of battery on them, and just leave them plugged in with their trickle charging feature to keep them topped off but not damaged.
