I know some will say this post should be on politics thread but it’s intended to prompt input from sportsmen.

Our tradition is really at risk with this next election. I know too many sportsmen who Don’t vote.

How can we assist and successfully motivate all sportsmen to go vote. We all should vote AND get a few others to vote who otherwise wouldn’t. Without being too pushy.

Scott Pressler was going to gun shows in Pennsylvania to get people registered up. Something like that may be the solution. Have a couple days of registering voters at places they frequent. Perhaps places like Cabelas, Bass Pro or some other hunting and fishing outfit could be of some help. Another place night be boat dealerships or something like that.

A dead would have been better than what we had last 8 yrs. I’m talking Presidential politics. Issues of importance like gun rights, hugging and fishing rights, environmental science and sense big climate hype and preservation. Access to federal and state land and waters, sensible regulation of overfishing, habitat improvement and others.

Many of our friends at the hunting camps do not get up and go vote.

Pretty good starts so far for a “Schmuck”.

“ The governor also signed bills that allow people to carry concealed handguns without permits, eliminate parole for adults who commit crimes after Aug. 1, dramatically cut availability of good behavior credits in prison and limit how people can request plea deals after their convictions, among others.”

But but but he's a republican! He can't be bought off and is for the people. (Sarcasm)
