Ched thanks bro. I was getting pissed off not knowing what I did wrong. I was pretty sure I was doing everything correctly. Majority of the plants I have or at least 2 years old they are planted in 5 gallon buckets and I have them outside on my back porch.

Smash you have seeds you want to sell?

You could try a little epsom salt too, besides just taking awhile for the plants to mature and produce this made them go crazy.

Tigah how much E salt you use? I never fooled with it before and don't want to kill my plants.

You need overnight temps between 50 and 80 degrees. Lower nighttime temps for young plants can stunt or make them drop blooms. Nighttime temps above 80 will also make them drop blooms. In the fall, on older plants, the lower nighttime temps do not seem to be as much of a problem.
In North and Central Louisiana, you may want to wait until around May 1 before setting them out. Keep them indoors or in a greenhouse until then.

I side dressed with about a half cup per plant, and turned the dirt a little, then watered. I didn't notice any shock but maybe go very light at first and see how they do.

Do y'all use the wet paper towel method to germinate?
Posted on 3/23/17 at 11:14 am to LSUlefty
I use that method. Keep the napkin wet. Super hots are just a pain in the arse to germinate

Same with Okra, I was told by an old farmer that you don't plant okra till its so hot your wife comes to bed naked.
I could plant in December then.
But seriously, I started all of my garden in those little trays until they were tall enough to transplant. Put them in the ground in late March and I had more Okra than I knew what to do with. They grew all summer, and almost into the fall. I froze a bunch, gave a bunch away, pickled several jars, and ate the rest fresh. All on 4 plants. I had 6 but two didn't make it very far, and the rest were producing like crazy.

Yall actually eat that bullshite or use it as mace? I guess i just enjoy feeling my tongue.
Posted on 3/23/17 at 3:18 pm to SportTiger1
Yes I eat them cooked in different dishes or use them for salsa. I decide to eat one straight from the plant one day and I fricking panicked like a lil bitch. IMO the Jays Ghost Scorpion is hotter than any of them peppers. And Guinness has the reaper as the worlds hottest. Which I think is bullshite. The Bhutlah bubblegum chocolate is a nasty wicked burn also. But it can't frick with the Jays Ghost Scorpion..
