I like the radials better, but they're so frickin expensive.

They're worth the money though. Other than BFGs I've never had an AT last as long as they do and they are way better than the BFGs in mud.

The only negative about them is that they are so damn heavy

Mickey Thompson ATZ. It's 19/32 deep, cleans great, looks great, and last forever. Plus, on your salary you won't even mind the higher price.

I also gotta pay off a house worth of student loans so don't need to overdo it too much.

I was between the DT and the Terra's

The DT is a better looking tire IMO but the guy at the tire place talked me out of them

What was his reason? I'm considering Duratrac, BFG AT, and Nitto Terra vs Trail Grapplers

The only real negative I've heard on the Duratracs is that the side walls puncture easily in rocky terrain.

Id consider ATZs if you are wanting a hybrid type like the Duratracs. They will last quite a bit longer.

Those are definitely in the running. I need to do some more research to see if the 35/12.5/20 would rub when I put on the 2.5" leveling kit.

I loved my old '89 Tacoma I had in high school. Went test drive a Tundra today to see what all the fuss was about and I was very underwhelmed.

Only brand truck I haven't owned. Dodge, GMC = garbage. Toyota = fantastic.

Check out f-150forum for a ton of great info. I think they might rub the UCA at full lock, but it really just depends on the truck and lug pattern.

Yeah, I was just looking at the chart and the only close set up I could find was a 2.5" kit w/ 3" block and reported some rub on the UCA.
