That's why they made trailer brakes. Stops anything.

Congrats

What color interior did you decide on?

Sounds equipped exactly like mine. I got the tailgate step too, but no bed extender. And of course the HID package, whatever that was part of

20" wheels?

Mine took 4 weeks to the day, even though I was told 6-8

It was an awesome surprise

Congrats

Sounds like a very nice truck. You are going to love it, but I'm sure you already know that.

Which interior trim, black or adobe?

Thought that yall would find humor in my misery. Just got to Disney world last night (not the misery part). Inlaws picked up me and Mrs ICS in BR and immediately my SIL asked for me to pull her 5th wheel. From BR to Disney pulling a 10,180# 5th wheel with a 2009 F150 KR long bed. She will be pulling that trailer back home or leave it here.

That sucks. That seems like something she would have planned out ahead with you.

I don't even think PIIHB would be enough payment for such a deed. ( assuming you wanted to and your wife would allow it ).

People ask some strange things sometimes.

Save your gas receipts.

Your logic and common sense proves that you are a male. She, however, is not.

Well at least give us some specs on this Ford pulling the 5th wheel?

What motor?
What mileage did it get?
How many quarts of oil did it burn?

Back to the bright side, have fun at DW. We had a great trip last week.

Word of advice: Do NOT ride Splash Mountain when heavy rain showers are in the IMMEDIATE area. We got absolutely soaked. Sheets of rain were blowing in the hole at the top of the big hill before the drop. Once we were outside, there was no hope for staying dry.

I had her credit card and it was smoking by the time we got here. I would have to start looking for gas stations at 1/2 tank because it was draining so fast. I didn't even bother to figure out the MPG but it had to be around 8.

Yea pretty much all half tons have the power to yank around some huge shite.

The brakes and transmission both catch all kinds of hell doing it though

3/4 and one ton trucks are built soooooooo much better than the half tons.

Except for the power door locks. GM puts the same shitty ones in all their trucks.

Yeah I pulled a couple thousand pounds with my old chevy 1/2 ton and no trailer brakes once...

Pulling it was easy, but I seriously had to coast through the first red light I came to because I couldn't stop. Thank god I was only going a few blocks and no one hit me.

I pull over 10k with no trailer brakes with mine a couple times a year. I doubt my transmission lives very long

That sucks, how long is the drive from BR to Orlando. It's 16 hours and right at 1k miles from central Arkansas. We are going in September, but with it just being 2 of us we can fly Allegiant Air almost as cheap as we drive.

Yup.

What convinced you away from the Duratrac tires? I think it's a pretty good looking tires with some good potential. I have heard of some issues with the sidewalls if you underinflate them, but otherwise, the reviews seem ok. Currently leaning towards one of the Nitto's or BFG AT, but like the DT also.
