Sherburne is going to be the place to be tomorrow BTW
If its' ever goin to happen in Sherby again its going to be right about now, I wouldnt' put my money on it though. IB sucks, covered a couple miles of backwater yesterday in the sunshine and saw 2 greys. Apparently feltersnatch got a push and every duck in arkansas is on the white river overflow. Gunna try to head up their for the thaw

The ducks and geese are bunched up in South LA. Cameron and Vermillion parish.

have seen constant geese for the past 2.5 weeks. but the only ducks I have seen are spoons and pintail. Have seen mallards and pintail high but they're headed somewhere.

Saw a good number of pintail in Jones this afternoon...wouldn't work at all. Also a few teal, very few mallards and a bunch of resident spoons were around.

sucks too because people have stopped hunting around us. and the geese have become content on not moving that much although they've definitely in the area

The kids will be up in funroe on the 15-16 to bird hunt. Hope this cold weather does the big push.

We had a few thousand snows around, with a good many specks, too. No one's chasing the snows at all.

might make for a good conservation season if they're more relaxed.
hopefully they're still around then. they've been feeding in our area for a while and might eat everything

is there a lot of leased land up there or if I went up there with my spread, could I just ask around and get permission to hunt em?

Super slow here in Shreveport/Bossier too. All that rain has em scattered, assuming that "em" are here. Sux
