Been about 15 years but used to sneak in there all the time when I was going to LSU. The lake behind Pennington is better.
There used to be a couple of borrow pits by the end of Ben hur across the levee. We used to Sam the bass in those.

Yes, on Ben Hur. My son moved in over there and loves to fish.

We used to fish in that pond when we were kids; it was a tiny little mud hole behind the LSU Research Farm back then. Some of the biggest bream I've ever caught, though, were from the lakes in Meadow Lea subdivision.

Sacalait jerking on tube jigs and a cork in the front pond near the utility culvert where the street divides the two ponds. This was 12 years ago but used to wax them in there.
