I have a 2020 RAM that’s at 75k miles that needs a new engine that is not under warranty
I recently upgraded trucks and really, really wanted a Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi but I saw far too many reports of this, transmissions, and miscellaneous sensor/electronic gremlins on the Ram boards where even the Mopar fanboys were getting tired of making excuses.

Had a 2012 back in the day and I loved it. Bought it at 40k miles and sold it around 100k and never had any issues really. Put a leveling kit and some bigger tires on it and that thing got like 10 mpg tops. Like 6 or 7 when pulling a trailer. I was a college student at the time and it was rough
Thing ran like a scolded dog though.
Never was a fan of the new body style but you never hear about any issues with them. Reliability has always been there, they are just normally behind everyone else in technology.

Looked like a high quality Ford -f-250.
Yeah right. Titans, outside of the 5.6L V8, are not exactly quality. The first generation had lots of problems with the anemic transmissions (same Aisin unit used in some Jeep models of those years) and rear axles breaking. Pretty much the same vein as a lot of Nissan products, great engines but everything else is left to chance...

The first generation Titan used a jatco transmission as does the second generation.
If you're talking about the diesel XD which came out in 2016, it did have an aisin. A A466ND... Which is similar to the transmission in a dodge 3500/4500/5500 with 6.7
In short, I think you're talking out of your arse

The original Nissan Titan essentially had zero safeties built in to protect the Driveline. It was also extremely underrated horsepower and torque wise.

Maybe I should keep my 2010 f250 super duty. Love that I don’t need the DEF and it’s a real workhorse. But already had 7k into it in last 3 yrs for things like gaskets, motor mounts, chassi mounts etc. But looks and runs great.

Aisin, Jatco...I don't particularly care who provided the 5-speed piece of shite that backed up the engine. Putting a transmission in a fullsize truck that also found a home in compact SUV's and passenger cars was a big fail for the Titan.

Would you say the original tundra transmission was reliable? How about the t100?
Because that's the transmission you were actually referencing

Admitting you misremembered something you once read would be an easy out.
For the record, I would consider the aisin you were attempting to disparage to be the most reliable factory transmision that has ever been produced.
