Nola East is giving Mississippi County a good run for its money. Nola East from out of nowhere.

Well Craw daddy just when i said i don't hunt in N.O.East any more i got invited today to hunt on that exact said property where the trespasser issue came about and i suppose the guys just wanted me to see there operation and to clarify just what there protocol is and i have to say those guys are all high end people and perfect gentleman. They spend literally a bank roll every year on that place and the story's they shared with me about crazy blood thirsty so called trespassing illegal deer hunters was in its self very entertaining..You would not believe what these fools will do to get on to that private property and most all of them get caught and end up in jail.. Well i had a great hunt and met a bunch of outstanding guys and with any luck maybe someday they will call on me again. Quite possibly after i have them up to my place in Missouri as i see a great friendship coming together with these guys...

Gill only has 500ac that he leases and his neighbors have 1560ac that they lease from the same gentleman.. While at the same time just across chef hwy there is about 4000ac that is unleased and private that belongs to a gentleman in N.O. by the name of Mr John Cummings. Mr Cummings gives no certain permission to any body to be on his property because of pending law suit.. Well Mr Gill thinks its his property and poses as a sort of care taker where he has every body buffaloed including law enforcement because he allows them and some local politicians to hunt on Mr Cummings property.Mr Gill has had quite a few of my friends arrested and it never came of anything in court because he has no credential giving him authority or power of attorney in such matters so the guys bond out and it cost them a night in the N.O. monkey cage and a lot of unnecessary monetary costs. Some one has to put a stop to Mr Gills madness for he has created so many enemies that its a wonder that he sleeps at night.

The guys I am referring to also now have extensive holding on the other side and adjacent to the intracoastal..
Cummings property is indeed golden I thought he was in the process of donating or selling to nature conservancy or he usfws

This guy Gill may have a weed patch on the land he is so protective of.

Why is there so much fighting and large amounts of money being spent to hunt some trash woods with little bitty deer? If huge sums are being spent to own/lease/take care of a place, surely these high rollers know that the same amount of money goes much further in states that actually have good hunting?

Duck hunting close to NOLA, that is why...

Hmmm, if John Cummings is the same John Cummings I think he is, he's politically connected and could wipe his arse with hundred dollar bills, if he so desired. If he doesn't hunt his 4,000 acres and is moving towards some type of conversation easement, why is Mr. Gill worried about it? Seems like Cummings ought to have Gill arrested.
I'd also think that after a night in "the monkey cage", any Cummings property poacher with half a lick of sense would be after Mr. Gill in civil, if not criminal, court. Sounds like something along the lines of a false imprisonment/false arrest kind of thing.
Last question, and I swear I'm not being facetious, do people really get arrested and spend the night in OPP for trespassing? All the fricking shite going on in Orleans Parish and we're putting duck hunters in the clink? If true, that's the most fricked up thing in this whole thread.
Lee Zurich ought to get all over these retards next.

Dennis
Duck hunting 20 minutes from French quarter rivals any duck hunting 20 minutes from a major city anywhere in us.
New landowners are slowly closing off some of the fishin too
They aren't protective of it simply for the hunting or fiahing.......also some pressure from city to do away with hunting altogether on some of it - so any unwelcome activity is negative publicity

How good is the hunting though? If somebody has F U money then I can understand paying somewhat of a premium for location, but the hunting better be pretty damned good for what you pay per acre in LA.
I've hunted a place close to 20 min across the river from BR that may challenge your claim (at least if you like to shoot mallards in the trees).

Dennis It's really flu king good
Roach it is that Cummings
No one does not get arrested simply for trespassing one is written a summons - but most hunting the ara inland of intracoastal and west of hwy 11(rough boundary) have special permissions for firearm and bow use - those that do not can be arrested for illegal dishcarge of a firearm - even a pellet gun- i am surprised that hasn't been brought up already
20 minutes west of BR mallards in trees......ain't consistent and widespread. And pretty far from French quarter

Isn't the entirety of Orleans Parish with New Orleans city limits?
If these areas were previously grandfathered in when any "no hunting" ordinance was passed (I'm guessing?) can the City Council just undo that? (I know the NO City Councik can pretty much do whatever the frick it wants)
Cummings is blow buddies with Mitch. That relationship seems like it would preclude any new no hunting ordinance.

Ok here is the deal! Orleans parish was at one time closed to all hunting, Then several years ago it became open because of youth duck hunting in bayou savage. gentlemen its not so much the duck that is of entrust but the deer hunting on private property and believe me they are not starving or small.. As i stated in another review i have been out there for over 43 yrs and i have taken many good bucks in those years. Now with the exception of the invite to hunt on Mr Eddie's lease the other day i don't hunt in Louisiana any longer and for good reason..

My friend you have been misinformed ! I have one friend and we will just call him A. that has been arrested 2 times at the request of Mr Gill and i have another friend we will just call him M. That spent 2 days in NOPD Monkey cage for simple trespassing. That's just a few of the many that have been threw the meat grinder on behalf of one corrupt man. but it looks like this guy is now facing a law suit for swindling a guy we will just call him Jack out of his property.. As i have stated before Mr Gill has never done me anything except denied me the right to hunt on land that is not legally his nor does he have any rights to the property his self.. i am only exposing to all the things that have been exposed to me threw my many ventures in NO East... I know for a fact that if i were to venture into the east hunting that because of my words i would probably be shot and found dead, but if i could just get one of them to come to St Bernard parish where i reside they would be thrown under the jail for these guys have no friends on my side of the green bridge..
