I was just used to how my dad cooked deer n was looking for other thoughts on it. N I didn't want to go to the food board. Figured this would be the place to go.

My way of cooking deer is, turn it into mixed ground meat or sausage, other than the backstrap and tenderloins. If you do have a roast or something you want to cook, cook it down for a long arse time with all kind of other shite to get the deer taste out of it.

All there is to it
