We have been running 5:30-10:00 daily. We haven't even had time to really eat, read the board, or update much...

They are delicious. Much better than duck or goose. The legs have lots of very small bones, but the rest of the meat is money.

Man, my arse is dragging.
Been a long couple of days.

This mornings duck hunt was not nearly as successful but we had a wind shift and heavy fog/haze. The birds were not as prevalent and those that were around didn't like the decoys, or us or the pond apparently. We still got 6 ducks with 5 guys. Bitter cold this am too. My pup got to do some work and she graded out at a C+. Needs some polishing and repetition. Maybe one of the other guys will post pics if her.

The pheasant hunting was slow and tedious at first with several less than productive 1/2 mile pushes through standing corn fields. Later this evening though we got to do some roadside hunting that was a blast and produced a good # of birds.

Another day of hitting the waterfowl hard and then chasing pheasant tomorrow. I'M hoping to get in some rabbit and squirrel hunting too.

BP, I knew it was going to be a hard long days hunting. That is why I didn't put in for the trip. Knew I wouldn't handle it.

Oh, but one of these days, I would love to give it a try. That and try elk hunting.
