All that came up for me were a bunch of reels with Asian names I’ve never heard of. I think the OB baws bought them out

I found a Penn Spinfisher VI for $109 on eBay. It's a $140 reel that's completely sealed. I'm tempted to get it.

The Battle 2 is a good reel capable of anything you want to target inshore. I’m not a fan of the handle though.

I’m now using the Penn Clash reels. They are really nice but cost a little more.

mine just arrived and put it on an old rod i replaced with a cajun custom. put 12 pound flurocarbon and tied on a drop shot. thanks op

I have a Penn Slammer III, favorite spinning reel...also have a penn fierce II which is a great reel!

You can catch the Penn fierce II on amazon for under $50. I've bought a couple and upgraded to carbon fiber washers from eBay. Just as good as the battle II imo.

Yes I did that too! I polished the metal washers in mine because it’s supposed to make the drag smoother.

I like my Spinfisher better, and it is sealed. I also have a Battle II 3000; it is a very good reel and gets the job done.
