I need to get my damn virginia buttonweed under control, every summer it takes over. How can I do that?

What's Celsius? Something you just spray directly on it as it starts coming up?

Seems like the only granular stuff available at Home Depot / Lowe's are weed and feed, which I know is not ideal. Seems like this weekend or next would be best for BR area application. Any recommendations on brick and mortar stores to get pre-emergent stuff?

Yeah it is a spray that you apply directly to the weeds. Takes a few rounds. Buttonweed is a MFer though.

LESCO 0-0-7 at HD

Sunniland 0-0-7 at Lowes

You can also find many different other big name brands such as Scotts, Vigoro, and Spectracide bags labeled as crabgrass preventer. These are all fine in a pinch and are not weed and feed.

Thanks. Got some put down this evening. They had this stuff deep in the bowels of the garden center, meanwhile all of the shiny weed and feed backs were front and center at the store entrance.
