What is the brand you like best or use? I don't have a trolling motor yet, but would you get a 3 bank for future expansion? Is 5A per bank usually standard?

I swapped out a Minn Kota 4 bank that had a dead bank with a Noco 4 bank charger and have been happy with it so far. Has ability to do all battery types and easy to setup. Both were 10A/bank chargers.

Another vote for Noco. 3 Bank 10A per.

Solar (brand, not actually solar powered) ProLogix is what I use, every Schumacher one has crapped out after a few seasons but the two Solar's work great.

Looks like Noco is the one. I can grab one on Amazon pretty quickly. Thanks.

Noco gets good reviews and the stuff I have works. I have a minn kota that seems to be fantastic. Stays plugged in basically year round, my trolling motor batteries are 4 years old and far as i can tell still good as new.

I really wish I had gotten a 4 bank so I could use it for the cranking battery as well. Gives extra peace of mind when leaving the boat in the water that way. If something happens and the bilge pump has to run its arse off, the charger will keep it alive way longer than just the battery.
