My son and I are going to Braves spring training the middle of March and I am going to take some fishing tackle. Anyone familiar with the area? Like to flat line some live baits on the beach somewhere and catch some west side snook. Anywhere between Venice and Fort Meyers will work. Any passes and bridges anyone is familiar with would also be appreciated. Also interested in Peacocks....I know that is pushing their northern limit but I have also read that they are in the area. Probably still a little cool for them in mid March but who knows. Shiner fishing for bass would also be interesting. Anybody got anything? I used to fish from Tampa to Clearwater pretty regularly but this is the first time I have fished this area. Thanks in advance.
