There was another thread on here a while back about Rotens calls. I bought one my senior year of high school and its still going strong 25 years later. I tried to track him down to get it tuned up a while back and heard this fantastic story that he had gotten in trouble and fled the country to Mexico. Turns out his neighbor posts here, showed it to him and got quite a laugh out of it.
I have really enjoyed mine. Would really love to get it tuned up again though.

Recently, I've seen a few more Roten's listed for sell on eBay and some duck call FB pages. Normally, it's unusual to see 3-4 being offered at one time.
Asking prices on these are between $600 to $850. Of course, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay, and I have no idea if any of these calls will fetch what these sellers are asking.
I'd pay extra to add a Roten to my collection, but not that much.

I used to know a guy with that phone number. But he lives in Sunderland Maryland. Come to think of it his name was Russell also. That’s crazy.

I still have the one that was gifted to me back in 2016. I don’t duck hunt anymore either, not that I won’t…just don’t have the time. I’m not far from Mansfield. I’ll have to look up his restaurant if he’s still there.
