It was a shotgun. I went in and signed it. It was the signature spot saying I received the gun. If I wouldn't have signed it it would be my word against their word, right? BTW, It's wasn't worth it.

I doubt this. A manager is most likely the one that made the mistake. A manager has to be involved in each firearm purchase.
Also, go sign. Someone is going to lose a job if you don't. Hell, they still might.
