Monroe County…right next to Claiborne lock and damn. Hunted all weekend starting Friday afternoon. Personally saw plenty of does but no bucks chasing them. Partners saw some younger bucks chasing and one cull buck that was killed was definitely chasing. A bunch of the bucks seen weren’t even paying attention to does. Plenty of scrapes around that’s for sure. Think the rut is just now kicking off and of course I won’t be able to hunt next weekend. Weather looks primo for next weekend and they should be full go. Hopefully last weekend of the season is still good.
