I don't think people is S. La. realize that. We are use to 80 deg and up water temps. Water temps around San Diego are usually high 50's to low 60's...that is cold!!!

Yeah pacific waters are cold but I don't think in the sense that the person that asked about them being 'cold water species'. I think he was thinking more like waters around Alaska and the arctic.
