We stocked our lake with bluegill and fathead minnows the first year. It's been a while but I think it was it was 1200 1-2" bluegill, 800 2-4"bluegill and I forgot how much fatheads. Exactly 1 year later stocked it with 800 6" Florida hybrid. the third year(one year after bass) we were catching 2-2.5lbs bass.

We were told you need about 100acre lake for crappie or somebody to constantly be fishing it for crappie.

I have fished many ponds over the years with White perch and none were ever over populated. If the pond is deep and holds the water good then put what ever you want in it.
