Yeah, I'm not sure how that power play works with a TSB or "extended warranty" on a specific part vs a recall. The manufacturers will always go with a TSB if they can, but NHTSA does have a lot of influence and that may be understated. It may be a "percentage impacted" thing; I have no idea.

Only buy a 2021 or older Tundra with the 5.7.
