Cut a 7 ft sapling, duct tape a nylon rope along it, attach some wire (clothes hanger, chicken wire, etc) to form a noose.

Paddle out at night and shine him, slip up on him and put the noose on him and jerk. tape breaks and then you got a gator on the rope. Drag him to the boat, duck his jaws and legs.

Usually a two or three man job on a big gator but one man can handle this job.

take a picture of my mother in law and post it on a tree near the brake.

It will literally scare the hell out of the gator and he will relocate himself,

I just relocated one a few weeks ago about that same size. Went out at night with a spot light and heavy braid line. Used a cork and empty treble hook. I casted over to him and got his attention. Kept popping and reeling and he followed the cork. He eventually smashed the cork and I hooked him. I let my dad reel him all the way to shore while I blinded him with the spot light. When he got to shore I clubbed him in the head with my ni**a be still stick and that was the end of it.

What is a brake? I figure it's some sort of waterhole, just never hear that. I'm just a dumb coonass.

For the gator, the funnest way is to hook it with a fishing line, but catching him with chicken on a big hook would be the easiest. Pull the string up slow and pop him in the "quarter sized kill zone".

A brake is the same thing as a slough I guess. This thing behind my house is an old river bed where they straightened out Lafouche
