I usually wade fish flatboat key but every once In a while at Cat Island I'll drift until I find some bait, throw the cast net, then anchor up near the beach and wade fish

Yeah Roscoe is a good guy. When he first started and was in the front of the harbor, I went there one day and he wasnt there. I called him, he said to just take what you want and throw some cash under the door of the boat. Stand-up guy. Hard to find guys like that now and days.

I usaully wade cat island and drift flat boat. But, we just got a 26 ft. cat so it looks like I will be doing alot more wading everywhere without a trolling motor to fish under birds. I am planning on running out to chandy a good bit more too with the bigger boat - hard to beat the fishing out there.

Gonna slay some bass from the bank tomorrow hopefully. Gotta beat that ginger kid for biggest Mandeville bass.
