I'm getting too old. I have a Felder 12" jointer/planer if you want to buy one for a reasonable price. It has a helical cutter. My old Delta Unisaw is not worth much anymore.
Unless its is worn completely out it may be worth a pretty penny.

That's lost in the modern rush, most of the time. Anything with woodworking is very zen, IMHO.
I am trying to become "AI Literate", at least to a similar level of being "Excel" literate because I am pretty well convinced that within 2-3 years being at least AI literate will be required to earn a living for most people in the same way Excel literacy is required today. My AI experience and research has alleviated some of my concerns with AI replacing us all...it ain't...but it is certainly another level of "computer" literacy which is going to create problems for all of us. I say that to say this...AI is going to make "thinking" for a living, problem solving, much easier in the not too distant future....I sincerely think that this will lead to consumers looking for "stuff" that is created without any or very little technology, such as furniture that is hand crafted at a high level. Price will not be as important as how it is created....and there may well be a lucrative market for such items. Even if it is not something one does for a living the creative process is a basic need steeped in human DNA....woodworking is, for me, the penultimate act of creating and feeds that part of my DNA. It may be writing or playing music or some other act of "creating" but most humans need to be involved in making something from time to time....many feed that need by solving problems for a living....AI is going to make that process far more efficient in the not too distant future.
