The Bible does say that no one can knows the date of the return of Jesus, but it never says we shouldn’t look for signs. In fact, it says the opposite and says we should always be in a state of readiness.
Trying to predict a specific date for Jesus’ return or trying to be ready for his return are two different things.

he will return and that is gospel.

Since you seem knowledgeable about the bible (minus the pre-trib rapture.) What the hell does the 144,000 in, I think Revelation mean? A Jehovah Witness told me only 144k got into heaven at the supermarket last night and the rest of Christians will live on a "paradise Earth"

This is one of the most misunderstood verses in the Bible. Even most of the good preachers today miss what it means and says. There were 12 children of Jacob who God changed his name to Israel. Those 12 sons became the original 12 tribes and their ancestors that are living now. God mad Abraham a promise that he would be the father of a great nation and the number would be like the sands of the sea. The 144,000 were redeemed form the Earth being first fruits. Jesus was the first, first fruit. He lived, He died and He was resurrected. The 144,000 thousand are made up of 12,000 from each tribe. They are virgins and have not known women. ( Sorry Jehovah witnesses). They were Redeemed from the earth being first fruits. They lived, they died and they go everywhere the Lamb goes. The Lamb is Jesus. Jesus comes back with His 10 of thousands. Not the multitued that can't be numbered. They never see the light of the Sun again because they will live in the glory of God.

So they have been being redeemed since the time of Christ being Christians.

you can find a lot of warnings that line up but as the Man himself said, we know not when the owner of the house will return.

That’s one verse taken out of context and used as a blanket statement by people who don’t want to study prophecy or don’t want to think they are in the end times. The Bible makes it clear that we won’t know the day but we can and should know the season.

The Bible writers used the same literary techniques that other writers used.
One has to use common sense, parallel passages and the aid of the Holy Spirit to interpret passages.

Common sense is not a literary technique.

The point is you have no idea what is meant to be literal what is meant to be figurative. You can't know.

Try asking God. Using your words?

Of course we still love the person but we don’t agree with what they’re doing.

It gets harder every day, but I try to remember that it's not up to me. I didn't write the bible, I jist try my best to abide by it. All I need to do is remember that everyone is going to get their judgement, and my opinion won't matter.

The lack of voice box, including all of the anatomy of the face kind of precludes him from answering with his own words, which is kind of the rub.

Sounds like someone is demonstrating this part of God's Word:

"you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing . . ." (2 Pt. 3:3)

He created you in His image. He placed you where you are that you might seek Him.

But for now, you are doomed, Hell is hot, God is love, and Jesus saves! Friend, repent and believe the good news.

I'm pretty sure the term "money" wasn't used in 50 AD.

These verses are not referring to the whole of the population in the last days, nor the whole of human history. If you read in the last verse and on into the next verse you can see the context of who Paul is referring to in these first verses of 2 Tim. 3. He is referring to the church. These types of people will be prevalent in the in the church in the last days. These types of behaviors have always existed, yes, but more on individual or small scales. Whereas now, they are blatantly out in the open.

On another point, though true we don’t know the day nor hour, we can absolutely know the signs. As far as signs are concerned, Mt. 24 goes on further to tell us, racism, rumors of wars, people being easily offended, and people lacking love one for another, as well as earthquakes, pestilences are the beginning of the last days.

Whether one is pre, mid, post rapture (personally I am pre) they can all agree on, this is pertaining to the end days. Seeing's that these are happening before our very eyes causes believers to get get excited, because we see the Word of God unfolding right before our eyes. Our our salvation is now nearer than we first believed. We also look up for our salvation draweth nigh

He doesn't believe in himself? He should try to raise his self esteem a little bit.

Yes I think the Gospel of Thomas illustrates the "times" well. Bible seems to have been structured around Pauline Christianity more so than Jesus Christianity.
