I don't understand who all of these people are that are riding unemployment indefinitely.
At least in LA once you max out your state benefits you don't qualify for any federal stimulus either.
You don't re-qualify until one year after you first started.
Maybe it is different in other states?

I have no doubt that employers will try to make sure that government unemployment is not extended past September to try to force people to take low wage jobs.
Didn't you see 2020? Employers have no power.

Borrowing trillions and free $$ is what is going to make people poor.

In the last week my local bike shop had to close on a week day because they can’t find people to work, Uber driver told me delays were because people stopped driving to draw benefits, and the local pizza place has to apologize for the long deliver bc they can’t find drivers.
We went to a local chain a few weeks ago. There were 7 vehicles in the parking lot when we arrived. Go inside, there are 4 families seated and we're told it's a 45 minute wait. Looked at my wife, said F that and started to walk out. The hostess said to wait and let us see what she could do and immediately got us a seat. They had one waitress, who was the manager, the hostess, and I'm assuming one cook unless some other workers carpooled.
We don't do many chains so I'm not sure how others have been affected. I've seen several mom/pop restaurants that have changed to only serving lunch or supper instead of both.

Are they really going to start sending $300 a month starting in July per kid? I saw a headline about it but didn't read the details.

I just saw something similar to this at a KFC yesterday. Completed empty, had a sign at the drive thru indicating that due to staffing issues they were only open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. until further notice. So little staffing that they were only able to be open 5 hours a day. Really crazy stuff.

What services are you willing to pay substantially more for?
You stupid fricks have no idea about the actual cost of goods sold.
