I think if you look at the ad pivots it becomes kind of clear. It’s televangelism with its own special distortion of god.
I agree that you can’t know all of the mind, but the actions Jones takes reveal his priorities, and thought patterns. These fictions are only real to him to the point he can exploit his listeners, and his narcissistic disorder means that as long as the exploitation results in profit he doesn’t care about what is being damaged by his lies.

Can you imagine being this guy? Parents that lost children tragically and have been harassed by followers of “truther” misinformation campaigns are having their day in court, whether you believe Jones deserves punishment or you believe Jones has a right to say whatever he wants regardless of the damage it does…can you imagine being the guy standing outside the court house holding this sign, still twisted into such a mindset built on completely disproven conspiracy theories, still thinking harassing Heslin, Lewis, Posner, etc. is the right thing to do?
