How do you deescalate that situation? He was throwing blows and prying their weapons away from the cops. I have no doubt he would have murdered them both if he could. Having cops sit through some gay lecture about sensitivity isn’t going to fix that.
I’m not a big fan of cops in general and definitely not a bootlicker, but I do have some sympathy when they have to constantly wrestle people who are drugged up into a superhuman state on who knows what and risking contracting hepatitis or covid or who knows what else.

I had a guidance counselor tell me I need to learn how to dig ditches because I would never be anything. Do I hate all teachers now? NO, because I'm not an irrational piece of shite.
