It pays 180k per year. Anyone currently making over that and with no interest in going on Fox as an anchor after their time as press secretary, it will be a hard no. That basically excludes the many names mentioned, especially Megyn Kelly. I initially thought Peter Doucey would be great but he is already making more money than 180k and he is already on Fox. Maybe someone will do it for the notoriety but that may be why the press secretary is usually someone that is not well known prior to accepting the position.

He does and he’s really really great, but he’s too much of an opinion guy, he’s not the right tool for the job IMO… not to mention I can’t imagine him working for the US. He loves the US and would easily support Trump in London but he’s Britain first and foremost.
