They're not the same person but the similarities are striking. I think they both actually imagine themselves to be the person in their avatar. At least Hank's was a real person.

Hank’s last post was in April. He went out with a whimper: white-knighting for the founder of Black Marxist Lives Matter who went on a buying spree of multiple million dollar properties across the fruited plain.
After reading through the topic, it really is no surprise he hasn’t returned: Hank started off attempting to highjack the thread with his patented brand of know-it-all-ism and was nailed to the wall on his very first attempt. Even more so than usual, it didn’t end well for him.
