My understanding is that this leaked section is just the hand recount part. Obviously, if you recount the same votes (legal or not) you get close the original count.
This has nothing to do with other sections of the audit which shows potentially tens of thousands of illegal votes and breaks down where and how they happened.
This was done by a contractor. They can’t just throw out a vote. It’s up to state elected leaders to then use the information for more investigation, criminal referrals, policy changes, etc.

That is their plan. This leaked report was a stroke of genius. Every msm idiot is linking their “findings” as credible. Wait until this afternoon. They will be pulling a 180. Bait and switch. Props to the audit team for pulling the strings of the puppets.

If it showed Trump won then it would also call into question every race in the county, some of the board members were candidates. This doesn't even get into state-level politics nor bills.
Beyond that it would show the board and the SoS has being insanely incompetent.
Holding these results back until the next election cycle would give more than enough time for people to no longer care, or at least the media could give themselves a reason for not giving it the cover it would truly deserve (see: Sussman indictment over the fabrication and proliferation of the Trump-Alfa Bank connection).
