The report is about Griffin, not DeSantis. You are falsely linking DeSantis with Griffin, who disavowed DeSantis a month or more ago for being too conservative.

To be fair Griffin was also pissed that DeSantis wouldn't make special time for him and wouldn't give him his phone number. DeSantis essentially said he was happy to take his money but he doesn't take policy advice from donors. If you support him then give him money, if you don't then that's fine too.

The only actual quote in that tweet or the one that the tweet is quoting is from someone a Republican saying he wished Trump wouldn't run in 2024. If DeSantis said it where is the quote? Is it that he said the tariffs weren't effective? I supported the tariffs but saying they weren't effective doesn't mean he wouldn't reimpose them. Maybe he has a better way to go about it. LINK
ETA: I love it too that another knock on DeSantis here is apparently the fundraiser was hosted by two McCarthy donors. Donald Trump endorsed McCarthy for Speaker.
