We have two conversations going on, I'm not talking about you. Tig. Mixed up my correspondence

I took it more along the lines of him removing ambiguity so fricks can't abuse the commerce clause to justify regulating EVERYTHING

And removing Court packing which got us to Wickard.

My reply was to machine, not corporate. You confused them

No it wasn't. You replied to corporate.

Gotcha. Looks like I crossed over conversations. I was talking to machine at a he time

Men that were about 100x more intelligent and moral than the boobs we have in power today. Think Maxine Waters and her miniscule IQ could maintain a conversation with Thomas Jefferson?

That's a separate conversation, but Maxine isn't going to be righting any new amendments anyway. There are very highly paid people at think tanks and in law firms that do this stuff.

And it's exactly why it doesn't work in the real world and why I'm a strict law and order guy when it comes to legal and illegal immigration.
Granted, you don't need a wall to keep out immigrants if there is no reason for them to come here. If there are no entitlements to mooch off of and employers won't hire them, they would leave on their own accord.
So, what problems do illegal immigrants cause for citizens?
They cost money in entitlements and indigent healthcare and overburden local infrastructure like public schools and hospitals while not paying any income taxes and avoiding payroll taxes. Well, if we switched to an all sales tax based federal system like the FAIR Tax, then they would be paying into the system.
The other issue is that they flood the labor pool with sub-minimum wage labor, and contractor businesses that operate without workman's comp insurance, benefits, or licensing. These create a ripple effect which cause wages to stagnate and leave Americans unemployed. Well, if those regulations were either properly enforced or done away with entirely, then that would not be an issue either. To boot, if it were not for entitlements that enable people to eschew working low-wage, difficult jobs, there would be no need for those employers to go out and hire illegals anyways as there would be more than enough workers willing and able to fill those niches.
As usual, illegal immigration is not a problem, it's a symptom of an inefficient and ineffective government that creates rules for all of us but only selectively enforces them.
