Yes.
Americans are too lazy and stupid to prevent it. Those that are working to destroy this country are too well organized and will be largely unchecked because A) people refuse to believe that is will happen here, B) will mind their own business until it affects them personally, and C) still follow laws and generally play by the rules of a system that is broken and being used against them.
And IMO D) do not have the stomach for the fight that will be necessary to prevent the total collapse of the American way of life.
So, not with a bang but with a whimper.

Just for clarity's sake—since your language here indicates that you also think it's only one side of the aisle who will institute the collapse of the 1st Amendment—exactly what do you mean when you say "the American way of life?"
