Where do they come from now? They go to school. They practice as lawyers.
You could do it a lot of ways. You could have a judges association who would set their own standards. You could use anyone you think is wise and fair to act as a judge if both parties agreed to it.
They're just opinion givers.

So the whole world is governed by states or the remnants of states and this proves some point you're making? Is that right?

It's a red herring. You're the only one who has spoken of a utopia. We're just saying people are better served when there aren't monopolies.
Posted on 6/28/14 at 7:15 pm to Jbird
You're really sticking to that utopia argument, aren't you? I'm not sure if you're forgetful or getting confused but I'm not the one that supports statism and the idea that a monopoly on legal violence will make everything great. You do.

quote:Japan is not and has never been an immigrant country like America so you're wanting to compare apples and oranges. (Dumb people do this a lot)
What's the policy on illegal immigration for those racists in Japan you seem to always be defending?
The core problem people in the States have with Immigration now is the color of the Immigrants. It's good old fashion racism.

Again I will ask you where is a place that you can hold up as an example of such a place?

There has been examples in history of people organizing without a centralized power. That was very much the case in the old west, which wasn't nearly as violent as lore would have you believe.
But how is it that when people suggest a better way of doing things, they're expected to solve every conceivable problem, but the status quo isn't held up to the same standard, and is defended in large part by it's stated intentions aka propaganda?

I've already said that the whole world is governed by states or the remnants of states.
I guess it's forgetful.

So what point do you think you've made?

Then the dispute isn't resolved.

You wouldn't be forced to use them. They would just provide some assurance of standards. They couldn't prevent others outside the association to act as arbitrators.

No. I mean if you were corrupt, I would have the option not to pay you and no longer be a patron.

What pipe dream? Again, I really think you're confused here. I'm not the one supporting a utopia. I don't support statism. You do.
