Sounds like a sweet place to live. Laws are well sort of laws and I can frick anyone over I want and simply deny the choice on arbiter and go about my business free to screw over the next guy.

Common law.

And that would be your plan? To screw people over and just not pick an arbiter? Sounds like a plan for exponential growth. You'll make lots of friends and grow business relationships.

Who said they're non binding? And they come from rulings in disputes.

By a group of lawyers that came up with standards then selected judges from within the organization?

I have no problem with collectives.

I'm a member of a church. I choose to go there. They welcome me. They can not force me to give them money. If I should choose to leave, they could not stop me from leaving, or follow me around and claim to look after me for my own good, and claim that they have dominion over my property, and that I owe them money. That would be the state, and I reject such relationships.

Are you trying to ask me what kind of political system that I support? I don't support any.

So why didn't collectives work so wonderfully in the USSR?

The people needing disputes to be resolved would pick them, IF they wanted to use a judges association. Again, there are many ways to do things, and laws would be regional.

He just said that he rejected the state in his last post. The USSR was a statist government.

What? Are you trying to compare churches to the USSR?

And the USSR wasn't a collective. It was single party controlled, centrally planned economy.
