I feel like I have a decent read on the insanity of white women flocking to vote for harm to their own daughters, etc. - sort of a pathological social contagion thing there and an extreme fear of being deemed disloyal and in the out group.

Your post makes no sense. Who are these "50% of the country" you refer to? Only 22% of American's voted for Trump and 25% of them regret their decision.
Some folks think the world revolves around Trump but the reality is Spanberger won because she was the better candidate.
