this to me says the ghost in the machine concept. soul in a body/ reincarnation/ purple chakra etc

quote:

"A New Machine - Part I"

I have always been here
I have always looked out from behind the eyes
It feels like more than a lifetime
Feels like more than a lifetime
Sometimes I get tired of the waiting
Sometimes I get tired of being in here
Is this the way it has always been?
Could it ever have been different?
Do you ever get tired of the waiting?
Do you ever get tired of being in there?
Don't worry, nobody lives forever,
Nobody lives forever

---

"A New Machine - Part II"

I will always be in here
I will always look out from behind these eyes
It's only a lifetime
It's only a lifetime
It's only a lifetime

The purple chakra/ Crown Chakra is about wisdom and being one with the world. Violet is the color of Spirituality. It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. Purple represents transformation, creativity and spiritual awareness. It is a protective, wise and a royal color.

anyone know of this?

on John Michell
i have not read his work but am interested.

the ley lines thing he referred to as landing strip is only plausible if the electromagnetism present allows in theory for the mechanism that powers alien ships(as some call antigravity, or manipulation of electromagnetism IMO) to work properly. which after reading up on coral castle, stone henge, and how these places were all built on or near corresponding lines i believe that ley lines are the earths natural electromagnetism which moves over time as the earths magnetisn/poles shift slowly back and forth through the precession of the equinox.
its also why some of these sites had to be shifted later, and why particularly magnetic rock/stone were used instead of local stones. also the selection of stone type in pyramids.

quote:

Michell's other publications covered an eclectic range of topics, and included an overview on the Shakespeare authorship question

coral castle info link his sweet 16 wa truly 1.618 the golden ratio
golden ratio also interesting as it is how we decide if something or someone is beautiful without being aware of it. also how the pyramids of giza are aligned.
golden ratio well worth investigating and how it shows up in nature, 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 fibonacci number
golden ratio in nature 15 examples
golden ratio explanation quantitative and qualitative
precession equinoxes platonic year
earth and electromagnetic properties/ transformer
my view on the term gravity is that it is a simplified explanation of Electromagnetism for those to simple to grasp the larger interactions. like the infamous neill de grasse tyson ridiculos response.. 'gravity no one knows' too truly explain it is to explain how the universe interacts through EM.

as the saying goes as above so below. cellular elemental interaction of electrons, scaled it up you have a solar system, scaled up more you have a galaxy. all revolvng and interacting with each other.

lastly i would like to say the 'as above so below' panspermia concept and the image of the sperm impregnating egg/ asteroid planet concept also applies under this concept. and the red rain/ comet/asteroid containing genetic material

Thine while reading on hermeticism I came upon this and thought it a highly relevant concept on what the enigma can be. whether it be the quest for the holy grail, publius enigma, the enigma of the stone is. its an easing into strange concepts that people typically shun for being outside their norm.

LINK

quote:

There are many other sides to the question of contradiction. Speaking theoretically one could say it is the only way of pointing to the divine, which is beyond the limitations of human logic and reason. But that is just a theory. In practice, contradiction could also be used to confuse, provoke, and force one back on oneself as a preliminary to being launched into a totally new dimension of knowing. It acted like the riddles or enigmas used in ancient Pythagoreanism as a device for holding the pupil's attention: particular sayings given to a pupil to force him to focus his whole awareness on a problem rather than listening passively. The energy generated by working on the riddle transformed the pupil. This process was an initiation in its own right. The cost of finding the answer was a heavy one: the loss of one's old beliefs, the painful upheaval and transformation of one's own being. (3)

quote:

The disciple desperately wants to understand: to find consistency, theoretical understanding. But his intellect is frustrated, flattened, evoked only to be pushed to the edge of extinction—until the understanding starts to come from an entirely different level. That other level is what the pupil was after all along. Unless we have some desire for it, or a deep dissatisfaction with things as they are, the dynamic of the teaching process is bound to remain completely alien.

From a mystical point of view, the Hermetic account of confusion and frustration—and the telling detail about one's perception becoming totally "blocked up"—is perfectly correct. These are essential stages in shifting from one dimension of awareness to another. One has to confront a brick wall before one can get beyond it. This has been referred to as the "spiritual constipation" that inevitably precedes a jump forward in awareness.

im not even that familiar with pink floyd and my thoughts went to the simplicity of their album cover 'the wall'. where as the others were complex and had multiple meaning or interpretations that one had none. of course it was significant, if only understood by those who knew the reference.

a great starting place for the geometry aspect is the golden ratio. and the two links i linked earlier. haven't read much or delved into that far aside from knowing the relationship of phi and pi.
pi being the relationship of a radius to its circumference. and how that will be true with all celestial bodies and round objects.

the visual and numerical breakdowns in the links on golden ratio i posted above are quite illuminating and set the precedent for more research.

im currently reading this breakdown of sacred geometry, if you care to look at it after the previous golden ratio sets a foundation in your mind.
Why do we have 5 fingers, why do we find people visually attractive want to mate with them? seemingly random natural occurences have a basis in mathematics, even if we dont realize why or how while the process/ program is running.

the stone monument at

helped begin my research into these topics through complicated puzzles and riddles and i recommend it as a fun exercise for your free weekend time. the answers are truly interesting even from 1999.

Do not get caught up in the geometry aspect currently. It is an extremely important topic to come back to, but not essential to the point that I am trying to make in this thread currently.

My next post will illustrate the the importance of geometry on a cosmic scale...

I am using Randall's expertise to lay a foundation for questioning ancient history and better understanding symbolism / language/ communication (all emphasized by HLI). Randall is very passionate about the impact of sacred geometry on those topics (very complex info). Randall brings it all together very well, but it does take a good bit of exposure to the info to get comfortable with it.

Reference the videos of Randall on page 10 of this thread for background

Comets / Physics

quote:

The Kuiper belt, or disk, named after Dutch astronomer Gerard Kuiper, is a region of comets extending from just outside the orbit of Neptune at about 30 Astronomical Units (an AU is the distance from the Sun to the Earth, about 93 million miles) to about 55 AU. It lies more or less in the Plane of the Ecliptic, the plane of the planetary orbits. The number of comets residing in the Kuiper belt is estimated to be in the hundreds of billions! The Oort cloud, named after astronomer Jan Oort, who first predicted its existence in the 1950s, is a huge spherical shell of comets surrounding the Solar System at a distance of 5000 to 10,000 AU. (By contrast, it is over a quarter million AU’s to the nearest stars.) There may be as many several trillion comets residing in the Oort cloud! Both reservoirs slowly revolve about the Sun in huge circular orbits and are part of the Solar System in its entirety. Here, in these regions, comets lie in a state of dormant deep freeze, a sort of cosmic hibernation which represents the second stage of their life cycle. We will call this 2nd stage Hibernation. (Wikipedia, under the heading of Oort cloud has a good artists illustration showing both the cloud and the belt.)

Asteroid Belt, Kuiper Disc and Oort Cloud.

quote:

The comets within both reservoirs orbit in a quasi-stable state, somewhere between unstable and metastable, that is, it requires only minimal force to dislodge them from their orbital position, but for most of the time there exists in the vastness of space no force sufficient to disturb their delicately balanced arrangement. However, from time to time something does happen that disturbs the deep sleep of these extraordinary bodies. In the realm of the Oort cloud it may be an errant star, a nearby supernova, or the passage of the Solar System across the galactic plane— each can potentially trigger the dislodging of comets from their place of cosmic slumber and send them on a long, slow, spiraling descent towards the Sun.

quote:

The process by which these comets are introduced from their trans-Neptunian reservoir into orbits that take them through the inner Solar System is different than that of the Oort Cloud comets. Whereas the disruption of Oort Cloud comets and subsequent descent to the Sun is instigated by forces on a galactic scale, that of the Kuiper belt is the result of planetary forces acting gravitationally upon the inner regions of the belt. It appears that alignments of the large outer planets Uranus and Neptune can perturb comets in the inner regions of the belt and either accelerate or decelerate their orbital velocity. If they accelerate they migrate to an orbit farther out from the Sun. If they decelerate they move towards the Sun and pass within the orbit of Neptune and hence within its sphere of influence. It is here that a process quite extraordinary becomes operational.

quote:

“…A new study reveals that the locations of the four large, outer planets play a crucial role in shepherding comets into the inner solar system from a lair beyond the orbit of Pluto. From Neptune to Uranus to Saturn to Jupiter, “comets are being handed off from planet to planet,” says Harold F. Levison . . . It’s this celestial bucket brigade, he notes, that allows a select group of comets to grace the skies above Earth, flaunting their dusty tails as they deliver key organic compounds into our atmosphere. If this gang of four were spread farther apart, comets that rank as frequent fliers to the inner solar system, visiting at least once every 60 years, could never make the journey. If the outer planets were bunched closer together, the orbits of these comets would look radically different . . . In simplest terms, comets leave the belt because it has a slow leak . . . Once a comet falls into Neptune’s gravitational clutches, the other large, outer planets start to exert their own gravitational influence. In this way, some comets from the Kuiper belt make their way toward the inner solar system, where they come alive in the sun’s warmth . . . Yet the new calculations by Levison and Duncan show that one shouldn’t take such a model for granted. It’s only because Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter are spaced exactly far enough apart that each has a chance of handing off a comet to the next.

It’s only because Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter are spaced exactly far enough apart that each has a chance of handing off a comet to the next.”

In other words, it is only because of the precise geometric architecture of the Solar System that comets can be transferred from their holding station in the Kuiper disk, enabling them to deliver their extraterrestrial cargo to the inner Solar System, and ultimately to Earth, where their exotic ingredients can catalyze the processes of cosmic alchemy that result in the formation of the planetary biosphere. Without this specific and unique arrangement of the planets, it now appears, the delivery of critical materials for the genesis and evolution of life would be impossible.

Comets and Communication/Linguistics

quote:

Let us recall that the language of the mysteries employs a variety of techniques for encoding alternate meanings into what might otherwise appear to the uninitiated as innocuous everyday speech. The troubadours were masters of this language, able to convey, through their songs, poems and stories, hidden meanings which those possessed of the keys could decipher. Legend has it that it derives directly from the ancient, cosmic language spoken prior to the great dispersion, or scattering abroad, that followed the ‘confusion of tongues’ inflicted upon humanity by ‘the Lord’ for their audacious attempt to build a tower ‘whose top may reach unto heaven.’

Tower of Babel

quote:

The King James Bible states this universal language conferred enormous power upon those capable of using it, for as the Old Testament God exclaims in Genesis, Chapter 11 ‘Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Employment of this sacred language by humankind at large rendered them so capable and powerful that they could accomplish whatever they could imagine, even to the point of threatening the security of heaven. The precise wording of these verses carries profound implications to one who can read them stripped of centuries of dogmatic theological accretion. Here the plural nature of God is clearly indicated in the English rendering of the text, when the Lord says, in verse 7: “Go to, let us go down, and there confound their tongue.” It should here be noted for those unaware of it that the Old Testament word for God is Elohim, which is plural by the rules of Hebrew grammar as indicated by the final letters Yod Mem. However, in orthodox reading of the Bible the word God is assumed to be singular, but to be grammatically consistent it would be more accurately translated as ‘Gods.’ Allowing this possibility throws the Judaeo-Christian scripture into a whole new dimension of meaning, but that is a topic that must be taken up in another place.

So, the unambiguous interpretation of these verses is that humankind, unified in our ability to communicate through the use of the cosmic language could potentially attain the rank of the Gods. Why we were deemed unfit for that advancement has yet to explained. Is it that we had not yet demonstrated sufficient spiritual maturity to wield such power and additional millennia of training and testing was needed before we would be permitted to graduate to the cosmic level?

quote:

I quoted Louis Charpentier describing the origins of the term Grail as being a pre-Celtic derivative of the word “Gar” meaning “stone”, to which was appended “el” or “al” the name of God, thereby yielding the meaning “Stone of God.” But the term Gar-el also means urn and it is in this context that Charpentier associates “Grail” with the word cauldron and invokes the image of the cauldron of Lug (pronounced Lu) in which “universal medicines” were cooked over a “special fire.”

quote:

Lug or Lugh was the name of an Irish deity and hero god. He is described by a number of epithets that translate from the Gaelic with such meanings as “long arm,” “fierce striker” and “The Bright One with the Strong Hand.” The appellation “long arm” refers to Lug’s wielding of his principal weapons, a mighty spear and a sling. It is said in the tales that with this spear Lug could vanquish his enemies. Grail scholar Roger Sherman Loomis, (1887 – 1966) associates Lug’s spear specifically with the blood dripping lance that appeared in the procession in the castle of the Fisher King. He asks “What better explanation is there for the functionless lance in the Fisher King’s castle?” and then remarks “Later Chrétien informs us that it will destroy the whole realm of Logres (the name of King Arthur’s realm, and hence England) — a prophecy which accords with the origin of the lance in the spear of Lug, noted for its destructiveness. . . “

quote:

So, here we are getting close to the crux of the whole matter. The spear, or lance, has enormous destructive potential, with the power to destroy the whole of England in a blow. Nikolai Tolstoy, an author and historian of Russian descent, born in England and distant cousin of prominent author Leo Tolstoy, has written extensively about matters Celtic. In his 1985 book ‘The Quest for Merlin’ he writes: “The name ‘Lug’ derives from a Celtic root meaning ‘light’ and the god was conceived as bright, youthful and glorious above all the other gods . . . and like to the setting sun was his countenance and his forehead; and they were not able to look in his face from the greatness of his splendor . . . the glory of his appearance was like that of the sun itself.

quote:

Remembering that the final change in the 5-phase transformation of the Grail was into a chalice, or more commonly a cup, or even a bowl, we conclude our excursion into the etymological origins of the name of the Grail:

The term Grail comes from the Middle English grayle, which is taken from the Old French as a modification of graal, taken in turn from Middle Latin, a modification of the stem of gradale which means ‘plate’, and this derives from the Latin modification of the Greek word for bowl.

And the Greek word for bowl is crater!

quote:

Let’s consider the word disaster, defined as ‘a sudden calamitous event bringing great damage, loss or destruction.’ It is composed of two roots: dis and aster. Dis in the Latin variously means apart, opposite, deprive, exclude or expel. For example, disabled means to be deprived of certain abilities, to disbar means to expel from the bar, disarray means the opposite of array, and so on. The root aster comes from astro, meaning a star, or stars. The meaning for the prefix dis that most pertains to the word disaster is expel, implying an association between an event bringing about great damage and destruction and something expelled from the stars!

Fun Fact: David Gilmour lives on a houseboat called the Astoria

quote:

Let’s take another related example, the word catastrophe. It is defined as “a momentous tragic event ranging from extreme misfortune to utter overthrow or ruin” and “a violent and sudden change in a feature of the earth.” Take a closer look at the word. At its heart lies ‘astro’, a star! Let us take it further. Cata comes from the Greek kata, which means ‘down.’ An example of its use is found in the word ‘catacomb’ which refers to a cavern or subterranean passage below, or down, relatively speaking. The Greek word katastrophein, an etymological ancestor of catastrophe, means to overturn, or simply to turn. The word ‘strophe’ formed of the last two syllables, in Greek means ‘a turning, or whirling.’ So here we have an association of meanings in the original sense: the idea of utter overthrow or ruin, of a violent change in the Earth, directly related to the image of a star, turning or whirling down.

Clay tablet holds clue to asteroid mystery
By Nic Fleming, Science Correspondent
12:01AM BST 31 Mar 2008

British scientists have deciphered a mysterious ancient clay tablet and believe they have solved a riddle over a giant asteroid impact more than 5,000 years ago.

Geologists have long puzzled over the shape of the land close to the town of Köfels in the Austrian Alps, but were unable to prove it had been caused by an asteroid.

Now researchers say their translation of symbols on a star map from an ancient civilisation includes notes on a mile-wide asteroid that later hit Earth - which could have caused tens of thousands of deaths. The circular clay tablet was discovered 150 years ago by Sir Austen Henry Layard, a leading Victorian archaeologist, in the remains of the royal palace at Nineveh, capital of ancient Assyria, in what is now Iraq.

David Gilmour:

"Fat Old Sun"

When that fat old sun in the sky is falling,
Summer evening birds are calling.
Summer's thunder time of year,

The sound of music in my ears.
Distant bells,
New mown grass smells so sweet.
By the river holding hands,
Roll me up and lay me down.
And if you sit,
Don't make a sound.
Pick your feet up off the ground.
And if you hear as the warm night falls
The silver sound from a time so strange,
Sing to me, sing to me.
When that fat old sun in the sky is falling,
Summer evening birds are calling.
Children's laughter in my ears,
The last sunlight disappears.

"A Pocketful Of Stones"

He's sending stones skimming and flying
Circles spinning out his time
Though the earth is dying his head is in the stars
Chances are this spark's a lifetime

Out of touch he'll live in wonder
Won't lose sleep he'll just pretend
In his world he won't go under
Turns without him until the end

Rivers run dry but there's no line on his brow
Says he doesn't care who's saved
It's just the dice you roll, the here and now
And he's not guilty or afraid

One day he'll slip away
Cool water flowing all around
In the river and on the ground
Leave a pocketful of stones and not believe in other lives

Until then he'll live in wonder
He won't fight or comprehend

In his world he won't go under
Turns without him until the end

Ran out of room to put this above.

Comets - Metals

quote:

While we have been discussing unimaginably destructive processes, there is another side of the equation we must consider. And this is where it gets really interesting. We know that there are certain materials and metals that are rare on the surface of the Earth but abundant in the entities that fall to Earth from the heavens, as we have been discussing in these articles. Among the materials delivered to Earth by comets and asteroids are the platinum group elements, which include iridium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium and osmium. These metals have a variety of unique properties.

quote:

It was the discovery of significant iridium enrichment at the famous Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary, ca 65 million years ago, that provided the all important clue to Walter Alvarez and his team that Earth had been struck by a cosmic missile at precisely the geological boundary at which the great dinosaurs rapidly went extinct. As a consequence of that impact the entire planet was blanketed with a layer of iridium dust, a calling card, so to speak, of the celestial visitor. This discovery triggered a major paradigm shift in our scientific understanding of Earth history. It has since become recognized that the history of our planet has been far more dynamic and violent than realized even a generation ago.

But the forces that destroy also create.

quote:

The first of the PGM’s to be discovered in modern times was palladium, by chemist William Hyde Wollaston in 1803, who named it after the asteroid Pallas, discovered only two months earlier by astronomer Wilhelm Olbers. In choosing to name his newly discovered substance after an asteroid, could Wollaston have intuited that the source of palladium on Earth was through delivery by asteroids? And could Olbers, in naming his asteroid after Pallas Athene from Greek Mythology, who, it is said, sprang as a full-grown warrior queen from the forehead of her father, Zeus, have sensed that the myth of Pallas Athene concealed an allegory for the role of the giant planet Jupiter in launching comets and asteroids into the inner solar system, where their cargo of exotic metals could be delivered to Earth?

The Ancient of the Ancients, by J. Augustus Knapp for The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. Hall

Pic below is my addition to compare to the image above...

quote:

However, it is now plain from discoveries relating to the distant BC years that the ancients were fully aware of the individual properties of these platinum group metals.” Gardner explores the traditions surrounding several of the ‘sacred stones’ of antiquity and comments specifically with regards to iridium crystal that it “glows with transparent color like any precious gemstone. The name “iridium” was applied in 1803 by virtue of this very iridescence (from the Latin iris: rainbow). Brought to earth by meteorites, iridium is an extraterrestrial metal, which can form its own rare glass-like rock, which the ancients called sappir. This was the Schethiyâ, “stone of heaven,” said to have been present beneath the Jerusalem Temple, as identified in the old tenets of Royal Arch Freemasonry…”

In Qabalistic tradition the Schethiya was a stone employed in the sacred ceremonies practiced in King Solomon’s Temple. In the Talmud it is called the ‘stone of foundation’ and the ‘stone of perfection.’ Gardner contends that the Schethiya was an instrument made of iridium crystal that could act directly on the pituitary gland and the production of serotonin.

quote:

It would appear that the double helical geometry of the DNA molecule is a key factor in inducing resonance between it and the ruthenium atom, with the result that DNA is transformed into a superconductor. The implications of this remarkable effect remains to be seen. A considerable body of research has gone into the role of platinum group metals in the fight against disease, including cancer and Parkinson’s Disease, as well as their possible role in anti-aging therapies. The International Platinum Group Metals Association has written on the potential of PGMs in the treatment of cancer: “PGM’s role in the fight against cancer is twofold: as the active ingredient in chemotherapy drugs and in radioactive implants for radiation therapy. In the first of these platinum compounds . . . have the unique quality of inhibiting the splitting and growth of cancerous cells . . . In brachytherapy, implants are made of platinum with the active ingredient of iridium isotopes. These are placed directly into tumours, giving a high radiation dose to the tumour while reducing the effect on surrounding healthy tissue.” Because of their excellent electrical conductivity and their inert, corrosion resistant character, platinum-iridium electrodes have become a critical component of heart pacemakers.

Comets - Summary

quote:

So let’s recap some of what we have learned so far in this series of articles. The word employed to describe the geological formation of a great excavation in the Earth’s crust caused by hypervelocity impact was the original Greek term from whence derives the term ‘Grail’ as in Holy Grail, referring to a special cup, plate, or saucer that confers properties of rejuvenation and longevity upon those who imbibe its contents, as well as restoring life to a barren wasteland. We have learned that as a byproduct of the great impact events exotic materials such as platinum group metals and biological and genetic precursors are introduced into the Earth’s crust and into the biosphere. We have learned that there were ancient traditions extracting and employing the cosmic materials in various ways, possibly to accelerate spiritual processes. We have learned that as a result of these powerful impacts the crust of the Earth is fractured and broken. This “extensive network of fracture weaknesses permeating the lithosphere” allows for the circulation of subterranean waters and the dispersion of the celestial products of impact throughout the lithosphere, the hydrosphere and ultimately, the biosphere. It is through this process, I am suggesting, that evolution is catalyzed. I am also suggesting that a sophisticated scientific knowledge of these processes has existed since ancient times and has been preserved to one extent or another in the traditions of the Holy Grail and Alchemy.

quote:

With all of this in mind contemplate the extraordinary symbolism of the Tarot Card entitled The Ace of Cups as depicted in the classical versions of the cards such as the Ryder-Waite or Builders of the Adytum decks, for here one of the essential secrets of the ancient science of Cosmic Alchemy is displayed for all those with the eyes to see and the knowledge to understand what they are seeing.

quote:

Through these articles I have hoped to arouse your curiosity, to stimulate or inspire you, the reader, to look deeper into these matters for yourself, to consider the possibility that we are the inheritors of an ancient legacy whereby our ancestors were able to accelerate the restoration of terrestrial nature in the aftermath of a cosmically induced destruction of the land, as it is called in the Grail mythos, the kingdom of Logres. We now also know that in the very epoch of Arthur the king, during the very years that the 12th century stories placed the Grail knights upon their sacred but desperate quest, leading finally to the death of Arthur at the battle of Camlann, something indeed did blight the land, a pervasive affliction, a cosmic curse, if you will. It is now scientifically established that between the years 536 and 544 AD a cold darkness descended over the world and the last remnants of the great classical civilizations disappeared. Strange fogs engulfed the land, the Sun barely shown for days, even weeks at a time, and when it did it was but a feeble imitation of itself, crops died in the fields, forest growth almost came to a stop over the whole northern hemisphere, famine overtook the people of Europe and in their diminished state they became susceptible to the onset of plague and pestilence.

It is now becoming evident that the onset of the Dark Ages was a response to a change in the cosmic environment.

In 542 AD the Justinian plague wiped out at least one third of the population of Europe. For the next four centuries vast areas of the world succumbed to the Dark Ages and the forward momentum of civilization was arrested. It is now becoming evident that the onset of the Dark Ages was a response to a change in the cosmic environment. It is also becoming evident that the events of the 6th century AD that served as the inspiration for the strange and exotic stories of the Grail, were but the most recent in a long series of global events triggered by interactions between the Earth and the heavens, events that have not only determined the vectors of planetary and biological history but of human history as well.

quote:

Are we beginning to finally uncover the secret of the Grail and whom it serves? There is one thing about which we can be absolutely certain. The heavens WILL once again speak to the Earth. Will we be listening, and, if listening, will we understand the message?
In these articles during the past year we have but skimmed the surface of the Grail Mystery. I am developing an extended book length treatment of this material in which these ideas will be explored in much greater depth, so stay tuned.

Pink Floyd:

"Sorrow"

The sweet smell of a great sorrow lies over the land
Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky

A man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers
But awakes to a morning with no reason for waking
He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise
In his youth or a dream, he can't be precise

He's chained forever to a world that's departed
It's not enough, it's not enough
His blood has frozen & curdled with fright
His knees have trembled & given way in the night
His hand has weakened at the moment of truth
His step has faltered
One world, one soul
Time pass, the river rolls

And he talks to the river of lost love and dedication
And silent replies that swirl invitation
Flow dark and troubled to an oily sea
A grim intimation of what is to be
There's an unceasing wind that blows through this night
And there's dust in my eyes, that blinds my sight
And silence that speaks so much louder than words
Of promises broken

"High Hopes"

Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young
In a world of magnets and miracles

Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary
The ringing of the division bell had begun

Along the Long Road and on down the Causeway
Do they still meet there by the Cut

There was a ragged band that followed in our footsteps
Running before time took our dreams away
Leaving the myriad small creatures trying to tie us to the ground
To a life consumed by slow decay

The grass was greener
The light was brighter
With friends surrounded
The nights of wonder

Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again
Dragged by the force of some inner tide

At a higher altitude with flag unfurled
We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition
There's a hunger still unsatisfied
Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon
Though down this road we've been so many times

The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
With friends surrounded
The dawn mist glowing
The water flowing
The endless river

Forever and ever

That is it for the Grail. Next posts will be about the prior impacts that Randall suspects (with info/pics)

I haven't seen HLI on 4 Chan in over a month??

Yea, I'm not holding my breathe. If he happens to do anymore, I'll check them out, but I'm not expecting much.

Imo, if the goal is to spread ideas that challenge some of societies long held beliefs, you don't disappear for a month.

His last appearances have been:

1/1
1/11
3/3

I was hoping for 3/30 or maybe 4/4.....

The 3/3 AMA was on the first Friday of the Catholic tradition of Lent. He may show up during the week of Passover / Holy Week?

May be LARPing....

Thine, how is this stuff still considered fringe?!

I understand a lot of it is relatively new, but you'd think geologists would be interested in contributing to us better understanding Earth's history.

Is it really just because the majority are preoccupied with O&G exploration?
